Laura — The Bloom Keeper
I'm the founder and owner of Black Magnolia 3D. It all started when I wanted bold, unusual decor for my own home. A friend who was stepping away from 3D printing offered me his two printers, and what began as a personal creative project slowly grew into a business.
I learned by doing: experimenting with colors, materials, and finishes, making mistakes, and finding my own style along the way. Today I choose the licensed designs we print, oversee production, and put care into how every piece is finished and presented.
The best part is getting to build something that's truly ours, with my three children beside me. Watching them grow alongside this business has made the journey even more meaningful. Black Magnolia is a little dark, a little whimsical, and full of heart.
Carlos — The Signal Sage
As Laura's eldest son, Carlos helps keep Black Magnolia 3D running behind the scenes and on the sales floor. From technology and checkout to helping customers and keeping things organized, he's someone the whole crew can count on.
As the Signal Sage, he brings a steady hand to busy shop days, events, and everything in between.
Nalanie — The Showstopper
Laura's daughter, Nalanie, brings color, imagination, and plenty of personality to Black Magnolia 3D. She loves sharing her opinions on new creations and helping us see our products through a kid's eyes.
As the Showstopper, she reminds us that the little details — and a little whimsy — make all the difference.
Kingsten — The Dragon Tamer
Laura's youngest son, Kingsten, is our enthusiastic dragon fan and unofficial play tester. He's always excited to see what comes off the printers and which new creatures will join the collection.
As the Dragon Tamer, he brings a sense of wonder and adventure to the family business.
